Happy Holidays!
One down, two to go, so far so good (cooked an edible turkey), and looking forward to the next 3 weeks of holiday preparations.
I’m not sure that I’m looking forward to the end of several of my roles at our wonderful country club as both a board member and your president. I AM looking forward to the upcoming projects headed our way, the continued strength, energy and direction of your Board of Trustees, and the unparallelled professionalism and effort provided by Tom Coburn, Alexis Parrish, and John Leslie.
We have accomplished much over the past few years, and I thank you all for your support of not only me, but the other Trustees, the staff, and the initiatives we have brought to the table and that you have allowed us all to realize. To that end, I need to specifically thank Erika Sheffield-Stull, Kevin Isherwood and Randy Russell for their dogged work ethic, expert organizational skills, and complete dedication to our club over the past, well, forever it seems. Their leadership is second to none, and I have been blessed to have them on board with me.
I started my term speaking of teams and teamwork, committees and work groups, and volunteer-driven project efforts. It has truly been exciting to watch you all commit, follow through and complete so many of our updated clubhouse, bathroom, gym, pool and golf course projects.
All that said, I am NOT going anywhere, and plan to stay active moving forward on both the Greens Committee and with an updated and staffed Membership group. I’ll be calling you….
Thanks for everything,
Bryce Landrud
2024 BoT President

We have made some staff changes, and your patience and support made these transitions easy and smooth. I am thankful for my position here at Twin Lakes and having me part of your extended family for the past 3 years.
We look forward to sharing the holidays with you and yours so make sure to stop by the golf shop and say hello on your way into the clubhouse to cheer your holiday!
This is the time of year that brings us Holiday cheer, but unfortunately it also brings frost delays, rain outs, wind storms, and possibly snow. Thank you to John Leslie and his team for continuing to maintain excellent course conditions during a challenging time of year. We are so fortunate to be able to golf and enjoy the course year-round thanks to their efforts.
We as a committee are excited to continue to work on projects and identify new goals and initiatives in 2025. We remain busy working on various items such as:
-Maintenance equipment replacement plan
-Sand bunker rehabs
-Rotted railroad ties removal/replacement plan throughout the course
-Cart path between 320th and Hole 10 tee boxes
-Hole 7 Poplar removal and replacement plan
If you have other ideas you would like the Greens Committee to address, you are always welcome to reach out. For other questions, comments, or concerns please email me at tpac14@gmail.com and I will review with the committee.
Thanks again to everyone involved with this committee in 2024. It has been 12 months now since I wrote my first Sandblaster article for this committee which introduced 4 new members to the committee, along with myself as the new Chair. Our committee meetings were well attended each month, and together we were extremely productive.
John Leslie, Tom Coburn, Kathy Wake, Jeff Eberle, Sara Isherwood, Marv Osterhout, Karey Wolber, Matt Howland, Stephen Sealey, and Terry Thomas- thank you for your time and efforts in 2024!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all
